Tom McLemore is a native of Nashville, Tennessee.  He is the son of the late Charles and Joyce McLemore.  In 1975, Tom was joined in marriage to the former Denise Johnson, and they have three children, Jon, Amy, and Mark. 

Educated at Freed-Hardeman University, Heritage Christian University (B.A.), Harding University Graduate School of Religion (M. Div.), Tom has served churches in Alabama, Mississippi, and Tennessee.  He is now pursuing the D. Min. degree at Harding University Graduate School of Religion. 

Currently, Tom serves the Houston Park Church of Christ, Selma, Alabama as pulpit minister.  He also serves as webmaster of the church's web page and is a regular author of articles in the church bulletin.  He is author of the Interactive Bible Study featured on the Houston Park site.

He has appeared on the lecture programs of Faulkner University and Heritage Christian University.  Several of his articles have been published in brotherhood periodicals (Gospel Advocate, Vigil, Carolina Christian, World Evangelist, Upon the Rock, Magnolia Messenger, and Words of Truth) as well as in local newspapers ("Think on These Things").  Two volumes of his sermon outlines have been published. 

His hobbies include book and stamp collecting, fishing, motorcycling, and music.
